Principal Investigator: Prof. Dr. Yu Chen

Prof. Yu Chen received his bachelor degree at Nanjing Tech University and PhD degree at Shanghai Institute of Ceramics, Chinese Academy of Sciences (SICCAS). He is now the full professor and Ph.D supervisor in SICCAS. His research includes the design, synthesis and biomedical applications of zero-dimensional organic-inorganic hybrid mesoporous materials, two-dimensional biomaterials and three-dimensional composite implants, including mesoporous material for drug delivery, planar nanosheets for theranostic nanomedicine, molecular probes for molecular imaging (MRI, CT, PA and US), ultrasound therapy, cardiac therapy, immunotherapy, non-virus gene delivery vehicles and in-situ localized tumor therapy. He has published more than 100 SCI papers in nanomedicine with more than 5500 citations (h-index: 38).
